My sister, Nichola, was the most beautiful person I have ever known—the bright light in every room. Though I still struggle with the reality that I will never see her again, I carry her with me in everything I create.
She believed in me, in my artwork, and in the vision I was still learning to see in myself.
Chickola was born in a hospital room, in a moment with my sister that reshaped how I understand beauty. In that vulnerable space, she lived with quiet courage—unapologetically herself: honest, warm, radiant—even in the hardest moments.

At Chickola, our handmade mixed-media earrings are more than just accessories; they are wearable art. Each pair of earrings is meticulously handcrafted from recycled materials. I’ve spent half my life immersed in different cultures, colors, and traditions.
These experiences often surface subconsciously in my work. Sometimes I don’t realize how deeply they’ve influenced a piece until it’s finished.
